GSA Cloud Services BPA Coming in 2022!

GSA published a new Request for Information (RFIBlanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) under Special Item Numbers (SINs) 518210C “Cloud and Cloud-Related IT Professional Services”, 54151S “IT Professional Services”, Ancillary, and Order Level Materials (OLM).  

The RFI for Pool 1 closed November 15th and an official request for Pools 2 & 3 are scheduled for early 2022. The RFQs will ONLY be released through eBuy.  

The Cloud BPA is part of the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Information Technology Category (ITC) initiative to fill repetitive needs for Cloud services. The GSA Government-Wide Cloud BPA acquisition will be conducted and awarded in phases based on Pools. Although pool 1 has been closed and awards will be given out January 2022, pool 2 and 3 deadlines have yet to be released.  

POOL 1 – currently closed. 

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) 

Mandatory Special Line-Item Numbers:  518210C “Cloud and Cloud-Related IT Professional Services” and Order Level Materials (OLM) SINs 

Option Line-Item Numbers: Ancillary SIN 

Estimated Date of Award:  January 2022 

POOL 2 

Software as a Service (SaaS) 

Mandatory Special Line-Item Numbers:  518210C “Cloud and Cloud-Related IT Professional Services” and Order Level Materials (OLM) SINs 

Option Line-Item Numbers: Ancillary SIN 

Estimated Date of Award:  TBD 2022 

NOTE:  While the ancillary SIN is not required for Pool 2, it is encouraged as it may impact the BPA awardee’s ability to provide total solutions for order level RFQ requirements.  

POOL 3 

Cloud Professional Services 

Mandatory Special Line-Item Numbers:  518210C “Cloud and Cloud-Related IT Professional Services” and Order Level Materials (OLM) SINs 

Option Line-Item Numbers: 54151S “IT Professional Services” and Ancillary SINs 

Estimated Date of Award:  TBD 2022 

NOTE:  While the 54151S “IT Professional Services” and Ancillary SINs are not required for Pool 3, it is encouraged as it may impact the BPA awardee’s ability to provide total solutions for order level RFQ requirements. 

Interested Parties 

All perspective vendors are required to have an active GSA schedule extending beyond June 2032 with the applicable SINs no later than the issuance of the Pool 2 & Pool 3 releases (estimated mid-December).  If you do not currently have the Cloud or IT Services SIN on your contract, Coley GCS can work with you and your PCO to develop a modification and help expedite the review process through GSA’s FAStlane program.
