Industry An Overview of SEWP VI

On Thursday, May 23, NASA posted SEWP VI, the sixth generation of the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurements Government-Wide Acquisition contract.  SEWP VI, with a 10 year, $60-billion program ceiling, is intended to provide Federal agencies with a one-stop acquisition contracting vehicle for Information Technology (IT) products and services.  The awards are tentatively planned for May 1, 2025. Here is the SEWP VI Final RFP.

Who Should be Watching this Opportunity?

SEWP VI is for all Federal contractors providing IT products or services under two overarching NAICS 541519 – IT Value Added Reseller and 541512- Computer Systems Design Services; however, the program is not restricted to just those SINs.

How Will SEWP be Evaluated?

There are three evaluation phases for RFP responses.

    1. In the first, relevant experience will be evaluated on a pass-fail basis.
    2. In the second, the relevance of past performance in the past three years will be evaluated. Large businesses must provide past performance worth more than $2.5 million. Small businesses should provide examples worth $500,000 for categories A and C, and $1 million for category B.
    3. The third and final phase will focus on mission suitability as determined through evaluation of the technical approach and management plan.

Price will not be an evaluation factor.
